This course is designed for agencies and organizations that require the ability to effectively safeguard persons who, for whatever reason are placed into a possible kidnapping or assassination situation. This program will focus on the development of a small protective unit and how to recognize a serious threat and implement proper counter measures. Due to the sensitive nature of information being presented, enrollment must be restricted to Law Enforcement and Certified Private and Church Personnel only. To provide continuity during the instruction, agencies should provide a minimum of one (3) person team with a maximum of one (5) person team per agency, if possible. Topics include, but are not limited to walking and driving formations, disarming techniques, gathering intelligence, threat assessment, advance surveys, close quarter confrontation, and extraction tactics.
